We’ll take any old excuse to fire up a special pizza and a few seasonal cocktails, so Halloween seems as good a reason as any to enjoy some treats this weekend.

Dough Joe has created the “Not For Vampires” pizza with a mozzarella base, pesto, confit garlic and garlic and herb breadcrumbs which is pure heaven hell. And Niki has conjured up a neat little cocktail in her cauldron that will leave you feeling particularly undead. It’s red and rummy and sweet and sour and beery and may have traces of stray cats in it, and It’s oh-so-bloody good!
