Thursday 2nd: Live Music - Rob Koral and Zoe Schwarz 7-9pm
It’s the first thursday of the month so that can only mean one thing… Our regulars Rob and Zoe are back in the BArrel room! It’s Live music to kick off a big month of events, and don’t forget Dough Joe is back in the kitchen ready to feed your pizza cravings.
Friday 3rd: Live Music - Joe Gisby Duo 7-9pm
We welcome back this talented duo who will bring us some good old fashioned americana goodness. If you missed them before, we can’t recommend catching them this time round enough. It’s The perfect way to welcome the weekend with some cool music and cold beers.
Sunday 5th: Holi Chow! Pop Up Indian Street Food from 4pm
these authentic Indian street food dishes are quickly becoming a staple in Southbourne so we’re happy to be able to welcome Holi Chow! back into our kitchen for a cheeky little sunday pop up. Expect mega flavour that pairs particularly well with our beers!
Thursday 9th: Thursday Night Pub Quiz 8-10pm
Our Thursday Night Speed Pub Quiz knows how to pull a crowd so book in early to reserve your table and hopefully you can win a stack of dosh. But first you’ll have to get the better of MollySQ’s killer questions. It’s only £3.50 to enter, but please remember that’s cash only for the prize pot.
Friday 10th: Live Music: Jim Hammond Duo 7-9pm
If you were hanging out with us on New Year’s Eve you’ll remember - or not - how good these guys are. Come back for more amazing music in the Barrel Room for another memorable gig.

Sunday 12th: SOBO Smoko Hosker Road Collab - Pop Up BBQ from 2pm
We’re a blessed little pocket of SOBO here on Hosker road - Blessed with great beer at the Way Outback (if we do say so ourselves) and sublime BBQ from our smokehead pals down the road. Possibly the best formula for the ultimate day of rest, come get some!
Thursday 16th: Speed Quiz with MollySQ 8-10pm
SpeedQuizzing with MollySQ is hilarious fun, gets a bit competitive but not in a you’ll-have-your-eyes-scratched-out kinda way and most teams leave not too embarrassed. The style of the quiz means you might get the questions correct even if you don’t know the answer, and the prize pot comes from from all the entry fees so you can easily cover the cost of your night out. Win win, Bookings Essential!
17th-19th: Brother In The Wild
We’re going to get dirty at the Brother In The Wild shindig somewhere in a field in the Heart of Dorset. Sadly this amazingly popular event is sold out, but we’ll be slinging beers from our Mobile Bar for all the thirsty push bikers who managed to nab a ticket.
Thursday 23rd: Trivia with MollySQ
What’s the highest (altitude) capital city in the world? What is the deepest part of the oceans called? Is a zebra black with white stripes or white with black stripes? None of these thought provoking questions are likely to come up in the quiz, but you could definitely learn something or win some money or just have a very fun night out with us if you’re brave enough to reserve your spot in this week’s quiz. Bookings essential.
Friday 24th: Pickled Mongoose Goan Street Food Pop Up - The Best of India
While Dough Joe is taking a well-deserved break, there’s no one he’d rather have in his kitchen than the good folk of Pickled Mongoose. Stealing the best Goan and Indian recipes from his family, Sham puts together some of the best examples of Goan style street food that appeals to every palate. don’t miss out on the perfect opportunity to pair your favourite Outback beer with some delicately spiced dishes.
Friday 24th: Robin Walsh Vinyl DJ Live 6-10:30pm
He’s back to lay down some more amazing tracks in a vinyl masterclass like no other. A man with an enviable record collection, it’s always an education when Robin hits the decks. Come and get schooled!
Saturday 25th: Parma Medics Pop Up
The chicken Parma is The absolute pinnacle of Aussie pub grub so it makes sense to welcome Parma Medics to the Way Outback. this true blue fare made it to the finals of the British Street Food Awards last year so you know it’s going to be good. if you’ve never had the pleasure, come down for a treat. Just a pity we’re out of bogan juice :)
Saturday 25th: CariSoul Vibes, Live Music 5-8pm
These folks stole the show at our 6th birthday gig… anyone who was there will attest to their awesomeness!!! don’t miss out on having one of the better live performances you’re likely to see this year right on your doorstep, drop in and enjoy this fab act. We can’t rule out a conga Line or ringing ears for a few days from the massive vocals, but it’s all worth it for the easy going vibes these artists bring.
Saturday 25th: Makers Night Market, Mobile Bar Location 4-8pm
The Makers night market is back and so are we with the mobile bar setting up at this family favourite event. It’s always a good day out so come and support the local makers and get a few outback beers in amongst some different scenery!
Thursday 30th The Way Outback Trivia is the Best Trivia Pub Quiz 8-10pm
It’s a crowd favourite for a reason. Fun, thought provoking, the chance to win a whole lot of money. In a place that serves beer and pizza. on a school night. Come on…. why the hell not?!?! Reserve your table now!
Friday 31st: Barefootin’ Live DJs
Our old mates Martin Kent and Steve Murphy know how to spin a record or two, and seem to love doing it in the Barrel Room so expect some brilliant ‘50s and ‘60s rhythm and blues from early-ish to late-ish as a fun time is had by all!
